Discovery Sound has gone and done it. Turned its sample cd collection into Sample CD Tees. Now you can wear those authentic ethnic logos on a Tee and show off that love for world ethnic music.  The name of the store is Sample CD Tees and you kind find it over at Spreadshirt.com. I just did it as a joke, but was surprised at the reaction the shirts have gotten.

I just opened the shop last week and already the sales have been rolling in. I am still in the process of getting all of the sample CD images made into tees and by the end of April there should be a really good selection to choose from.

Anyways I know I don't have a lot of readers, cause let's face it, sampling community is small but loyal. Thanks to all of you who continue support the sampling industry and Discovery Sound. Looking forward to another great 20 years. That is right we turn 20 in August. We been around the block a few times.

BigFishAudio.com Gets a New Look

Big Fish Audio (BFA) is one of my biggest distributors in the U.S. and are constantly updating their website to provide the latest and greatest from the sampling world. Recently the site has taken a whole new overhaul and if I might say a step in the right direction. The website is a lot easier to navigate and the the layout has improved 10 fold. I think the Google bots really like it because within a week of the new look Big Fish was already a PR5.

As most of you already know the days of waiting on a sample CD in the mail (though still some of like having that hard copy) are soon going to be history with the digital age taking over and BFA is already in place to provide producers and musicians with instant access to some of the hottest samples available.

Big Fish will still offer the original sample CD packs as well as downloadable versions so they will definitely have the best of both worlds until the CD eventually becomes an inadequate item.

So Just who is this Simon Wolfe?
An emering composer for Television, Documentary film soundtracks and multimedia. Simon has written music sweeping across many genres from Ochestra, World, and Electronic to ambient, dance and classical. Some of his work has featured in the World Music Track CD released by Productiontrax.

His track "Next to you" was chosen for the film "HARD PILL" (writer/director John Baumgartner starring Jonathan Slavin)

Now our samples can be downloaded directly from the Loopmasters website. (The days of waiting 2 weeks for the mail to arrive before you can start producing are over!!!)

Loopmasters gives new meaning to the word "distributor". They are always providing the best services and returns for all of their partners/labels. In short they don't beat around the bush.
